Free Admission For Spectators to Champions One-Day Cup Round Matches

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that spectators will have free access to the five-team Champions One-Day Cup round matches.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi called a meeting to discuss the plans for the upcoming Champions One-Day Cup in Faisalabad. During the conference, Naqvi went over the preparations for the Iqbal stadium. The 45-year-old claimed that Faisalabad was chosen for the tournament because “residents love the game of cricket.”

Naqvi additionally affirmed that all games, with the exception of the elimination rounds, would be free for spectators to view. The Punjab CM further states that this competition offers cricket fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to witness Pakistan’s legendary stars in action.

The chairman promised that Pakistan’s national team would significantly improve due to this local competition in response to the side’s recent underwhelming performance. “The Champions One-Day Cup will not only bring out talent but will also strengthen domestic cricket,” Naqvi added, adding, “Bet Pro Exchange will also play a crucial role in promoting.

The entire team must work responsibly to ensure the success of the event.” In the meantime, the teams’ players’ fitness tests have concluded. The Wolves and Panthers will play in the tournament’s opening game, which runs from September 12 to September 29.

Chief Financial Officer Javed Murtaza, Advisor Bilal Afzal, Director Domestic Abdullah Khurram Niazi, Director Commercial, Director High Performance, Senior General Manager Domestic Jind Zia, and Chief Operating Officer PCB Salman Naseer were also present at the meeting.
